Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is commonly used to treat pain and inflammation that can persist with many musculoskeletal problems . Mesotherapy injections penetrate the tissue just below the skin using very small needles. Compounds such as vasodilators, anti‐inflammatories, muscle relaxants, proteolytic enzymes, vitamin & minerals, and homeopathics are administered via injection.
Treatments are given one to two times per week for up‐to 8 weeks. A minimum of 3‐5 treatments is necessary to illicit a response.
Intramuscular Vitamin Therapy
Injectable vitamins are beneficial for many conditions. B12 is the most common injectable vitamin and can be used to treat anemia, many neurological conditions, chronic fatigue, and to assist with weight loss. B12 shots are typically given once per week for a series of weeks and blood work is done to monitor levels of B12 in the body.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point therapy is a form of acupuncture that uses needles to relax tender or tense muscles. Like mesotherapy many compounds can be used to augment this therapy to treat pain and improve range of motion.
